Yes, and this is one of the most common reasons people book here.
Counselling is not going to rearrange your household, and anyone promising that is selling something. What it can do is separate two things that currently arrive together: the comments themselves, and what you have concluded about yourself because of them. The second one is where the dread usually lives.
There is also a specific piece worth examining, which is your husband's "ignore it." That sentence often means something other than what it says. Sometimes it is avoidance of a conflict he does not feel able to have; sometimes it is a genuine belief that the comments are harmless. Those two need very different responses from you, and most couples never find out which one they are dealing with.
What is realistic: more room between the comment and your reaction, and a clearer view of what you can actually ask for. That is often enough to change how coming home feels.
This is general information in reply to a public question, not advice about your own situation, and it does not create a client relationship. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
