This is the most common question the practice receives, and the fear behind it is reasonable rather than paranoid.
The short answer on our side: session content is confidential, and nothing is reported to your family, your spouse, your in-laws, your employer or an insurer. Sessions are not recorded. Confidentiality can be set aside only where there is a serious and immediate risk to life, a risk to a child, or a legal order, and in that situation only what is necessary is shared. That is the whole list, and it is set out in full in the privacy policy.
The part worth thinking about is your side, because in practice that is where most exposure happens. Sessions here are online, so there is no waiting room and no building for anyone to see you enter. But a WhatsApp thread stays on your phone, a call log is visible to whoever picks the handset up next, and a payment may appear on a shared statement.
Practical options people use: audio only rather than video, which looks like any other call; headphones; a parked car; deleting your own copy of messages. None of that is unusual and nobody will think it strange if you ask for it.
This is general information in reply to a public question, not advice about your own situation, and it does not create a client relationship. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
