Purpose

What is the introductory call for?

It exists so you can find out whether this is the right service without paying to find out. Ten minutes is enough to cover format, language, availability, cost and whether your concern is one this practice works with.

It is also enough to hear how someone talks to you, which is usually the thing that decides whether a first session is worth booking.

Good questions to ask in 10 minutes

You do not have to describe the problem at all if you would rather not.

  • What would a first session actually cover?
  • Is my concern something you work with, or should I see someone else?
  • Which format would you suggest, and why?
  • What does it cost in total, and what happens if I need to reschedule?

What it is not

Ten minutes is not a session, and treating it as one would do you a disservice.

  • It is not counseling, and no work is done in it.
  • It is not an assessment or a diagnosis.
  • It is not a crisis service.
  • It does not commit you to booking anything.

If you already know what you want, you can book a session directly from the booking page.

Questions, answered

Questions people ask.

Is the introductory call really free?

Yes. The introductory call is free for first-time clients, takes no payment and asks for no card details. There is no obligation to book a session afterwards.

What can I ask in the introductory call?

It is ten minutes to ask about format, language, availability and cost, and whether counseling is a suitable next step for your situation. It is not a counseling session and no therapeutic work is done in it.

Who is the introductory call for?

It is for first-time clients of The Bonding Corner. If you have had sessions here before, book a paid individual or couple session rather than the introductory call.

What language will the introductory call be in?

English, Urdu or Punjabi, whichever you prefer. Saying which you want when you book means the call starts in the right language instead of spending the first minutes settling it.

Do I have to book a session after the call?

No. Saying you want to think about it is a complete answer, and no follow-up is required. The call exists so that you can decide with more information, not so that you can be persuaded.

No payment details are taken for this call.

If you decide not to continue afterwards, nothing further happens.
