The Bonding Corner serves people in Rawalpindi entirely online, with scheduled video, audio or WhatsApp text sessions with psychologist Zahid Sohail. There is no clinic visit and no travel. Individual sessions are Rs. 2,000 for 60 minutes and couple sessions Rs. 3,000 for 90 minutes.

This is an online practice. There is no clinic address and no walk-in service in Rawalpindi. Every session is held by video call, audio call or WhatsApp text.
Why online
Why people in Rawalpindi choose an online session
The practical reasons are the same ones that stop people attending a clinic at all: an hour of traffic each way on top of the session, a waiting room where you might be recognised, and appointment times that assume you can leave work in the afternoon.
Removing the journey usually matters more than people expect. A 60-minute session stops costing three hours, which changes whether a second appointment actually happens.
What you need
Less than a clinic visit requires.
- A phone or laptop, and headphones
- A room where you will not be overheard, or a parked car
- A connection stable enough for audio; video is optional
- If neither is possible, a WhatsApp text plan instead
What people book
What Rawalpindi clients usually book
Individual sessions
Low mood, anxiety, stress and anger. 60 minutes, Rs. 2,000.
Individual counselingMarriage and couple sessions
90 minutes, Rs. 3,000, with both spouses or one attending alone.
Marriage counselingJoint family concerns
In-law pressure and privacy in a shared home, which are the most common household concerns here.
In-laws and joint familyWhatsApp text plans
For people in a full house where a spoken session would be overheard. From Rs. 1,000 for seven days.
Text chat counselingIf you would rather see someone in person
Online is not the right format for everyone. Rawalpindi and Islamabad have hospital psychiatry departments and private clinics, and an in-person appointment is the better choice if you would find a screen a barrier, or if your situation needs medical assessment.
Saying so is more useful than persuading you otherwise.

What the research says
- Most people living with a mental health condition do not receive effective care. Only about one in three people with depression gets formal mental health care. [1]
- A 2018 systematic review comparing guided internet-based and face-to-face cognitive behavioural therapy found the two formats gave broadly equivalent results, while noting more research is still needed for some conditions. [2]
